Noelle Burke is a Registered Social Worker with experience dating back to 2003, supporting young people, adults, couples, and families as they navigate challenges impacting their well-being, relationships, and sense of self.

She holds an Advanced Diploma in Child and Youth Work (CYW), as well as Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work (BSW, MSW). Noelle has also contributed research on child welfare practices across Ontario. She is an adoption-competent therapist with specialized training in developmental trauma, grief and loss, and family systems. Her therapeutic approach is relational, hopeful, and grounded in deep respect for each person’s story. Noelle integrates Somatic approaches, Attachment-Based and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) approaches, and EMDR to help clients untangle the deeper emotions and behaviours that can underlie distress, confusion, and disconnection from self and others.

Noelle works extensively with adult adoptees, adoptive families, and individuals navigating fertility, parenting, and challenging family dynamics. She also has significant experience supporting families through post-adoption transitions, parenting children and youth with special needs and considerations, and navigating the school system. Her clinical perspective is enriched by lived experience—as an adoptee herself and as the parent of a grown son—which brings depth, empathy, and insight into her work with non-traditional family systems.

Outside of her professional work, she enjoys traveling to concerts across North America and spending time with loved ones—both human and feline.
